Our Story

The story of KOMJET begins in 2024, a landmark year, yet its foundation was laid by a pivotal breakthrough in May 2023. With the invaluable collaboration of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Johns Hopkins University, our team achieved a significant technological leap in civil hyperbaric oxygenation. This innovation not only culminated in the successful development of our first 2.0 ATA hyperbaric oxygen chamber but crucially, it filled a global market gap for oxygen chambers below 3.0 ATA. Recognizing that the civil market demanded more complex, diverse, and personalized solutions—distinct from the specialized needs of military and medical sectors—the 701 Research Institute of China Shipbuilding Industry strategically invested in establishing KOMJET as an independent entity. Our hope is to leverage military-grade hyperbaric oxygen therapy technology, combined with over 60 years of high-quality production experience, to empower more people to enjoy the right to health brought by hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

Shanghai 701 Yangyuan Hyperbaric OxygenChamber Co., Ltd. was established.

1995

Successfully developed a transparent infant chamber and a magnetic coupling sealed transmission device.

1997

Successfully developed a large-opening lightweight thin-shell sliding door.

1998

Successfully developed a low-resistance, fully automatic oxygen inhalation device for hyperbaric oxygen chambers.

1999

Successfully developed a PSA oxygen generator and liquid oxygen storage and supply equipment(project initiated in 1997).Also developed a balanced membrane-type oxygen inhalation helmet.

Successfully developed light-guided illumination equipment for chambers.
